European Research Infrastructure METROFOOD-RI

The project Consolidation of the integration of the Romanian node METROFOOD-RO into the European research infrastructure METROFOOD-RI (acronym METROFOOD-RO EVOLVE) was launched, representing a strategic approach to integrate the Romanian node METROFOOD-RO into the European research infrastructure METROFOOD-RI.

The project responds to the call PCIDIF PCIDIF_P1/OP1/RSO1.1/PCIDIF_A3 – Synergies with Horizon Europe actions within the Smart Growth, Digitization and Financial Instruments program.

The METROFOOD-RO EVOLVE project proposes the development and strengthening of research capacities and analytical infrastructure in the field of food safety and nutrition. For the implementation of the project and the achievement of all the proposed targets, a consortium consisting of Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Bioresurse Alimentare - IBA București (conducător de proiect) şi partenerii INOE 2000 – Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Optoelectronică; INCDTIM – Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Tehnologii Izotopice și Moleculare; Universitatea de Științele Vieții "Regele Mihai I" din Timișoara; INMA – Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Mașini și Instalații Destinate Agriculturii și Industriei Alimentare; USAMV București – Universitatea de Științe Agronomice și Medicină Veterinară din București; Universitatea "Dunărea de Jos" and Universitatea din București.

 

 

In order to implement the project and achieve all the proposed targets, a consortium was formed consisting of the National Research and Development Institute for Food Bioresources - IBA Bucharest (project manager) and the partners INOE 2000 - the National Research and Development Institute for Optoelectronics; INCDTIM – National Research-Development Institute for Isotopic and Molecular Technologies; "King Mihai I" University of Life Sciences from Timișoara; INMA – National Research-Development Institute for Machinery and Installations for Agriculture and the Food Industry; USAMV Bucharest – University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine from Bucharest; "Lower Danube" University and the University of Bucharest. With a budget of 15,430,903.00 lei, the members of the consortium hope to reach the proposed targets aimed at implementing the most advanced analytical methods for evaluating food quality, aligning with European and international standards.
