INOE @ The 7th International Congress on Food Science and Technology

Between 7–10 November 2025, researchers from ICIA Cluj-Napoca, a branch of INOE 2000, represented the institute at The 7th International Congress on Food Science and Technology, held at Metropolitan Expo, Athens.

The participation of ICIA took place within the framework of the METROFOOD-RO Evolve project (SMIS 309287), aiming to disseminate results on the valorization of coffee residues as a protein source and to strengthen international collaboration within the METROFOOD-RI network.

The event, organized by the Hellenic Association of Food Technologists (HEFET), brought together specialists in food science and technology, focusing on innovation and sustainability — emerging technologies, food safety, valorization of agro-food by-products, and eco-friendly packaging — providing a valuable platform for promoting INOE 2000’s expertise in advanced analysis, circular bioeconomy, and sustainable food processes.
