From 7 to 9 October 2026, INOE organised the second edition of the International Conference on Optoelectronics and Heritage Science (OPTO-HS 2026), hosted by the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest.

The event brought together approximately 100 researchers, professionals, and students from Romania and abroad to exchange recent advances in optoelectronic technologies, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytical methods for cultural heritage investigation and conservation.

Chaired by Dr. Monica Dinu (INOE 2000), the conference fostered scientific exchange and strengthened international collaboration within the Heritage Science community.

The next edition of OPTO-HS will take place in Vienna, under the coordination of Dr. Valentina Ljubic from TU Wien, Austria.

We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers, participants, partners, and sponsors for their valuable contributions to the success of OPTO-HS 2026. We invite the Heritage Science community to build on the connections established in Bucharest, initiate new collaborations, and join us in Vienna for the next edition of OPTO-HS!
